Karen Gayle Wimberly, 67, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at her residence. She was born January 18, 1953 in Florence, a daughter of Devonne Teal and the late Clifford Sauls.

She was also predeceased by her sister, Brenda Gardner.

Karen was a member of Camp Branch Baptist Church. She was the first female Student Body President at Florence Darlington Technical College.

Mrs. Wimberly is survived by her husband, Jimmy Wimberly; children, Tasha Wimberly Johnson, Rebecca Wimberly Illes (Michael), Ginger Cox Johnson and Brandy Lynn Cox; brother, Michael C. Sauls; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren and many other family and friends who will miss her.

Due to COVID-19 services will be held at a later date.
