William "Ronnie" Roberts, 78, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024 at his residence. He was born August 7, 1945 in Prince Frederick, Maryland, a son of the late Emerson Roberts and Myrtle Elliot Roberts.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Richard Roberts and Carl Roberts.

Ronnie served three tours of duty during the Vietnam War, serving in both the U.S. Army and Navy. After his war services, he joined the Army Reserves and continued to serve our nation. He was a general contractor who worked for himself for twenty-eight years. Ronnie was an active member of Langston Baptist church, a proud man who loved his Lord and Savior. He loved going fishing with Pastor Nevin his former pastor in Maryland and loved his children with all his heart.

Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Patricia "Pat" Roberts; son, John Roberts; daughter, Katie Belle Roberts; lifelong friend, Larry Bowen and many nieces, family and friends who will miss him.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am, Monday, February 19, 2024 at Langston Baptist Church with Pastor Brandon Blair and Pastor Bruce Davenport officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

A Memorial Service will also be held 11:00 am Friday, February 23, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Calvert County, Prince Frederick, MD, 20678 with Military Honors.

The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the church.
