William K. James of Conway, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Conway Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born August 17, 1937 in Galivants Ferry, South Carolina, a son of the late Dan E. and Elise R. James.

A graduate of Berry College, he was retired from the Farmer's Home Administration of Conway.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy B. James, their two children, Wes James (Liz) of Lancaster and Donna (Peter) Jenkins of James Island and six grandchildren, Kyle James, Garrett (Whitney) James, Madison (David) Mullinax, McKenzie Jenkins, David James and Marianne Jenkins and one great-grandchild, Brynn Mullinax.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Winsett and three brothers, Herbert James, Dan James and Don James.

A Graveside Service will be held 1pm, Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Aynor Town Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after the graveside service.
