Tracy Jean Watson, 49, passed away, unexpectedly, on Friday, August 14, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born September 8, 1976, in Marion, a daughter of Wyman Watson and Carolyn George Floyd.

She was predeceased by her step mother, Macie Teresa Watson; her grandparents, Mary Ann and Wilbur Watson, and Ruby and Clarence Cooper.

Tracy grew up in the Britton's Neck area as well as Socastee, SC. She graduated from Socastee High School in 1994 and nursing school in 1996. Tracy was a practicing nurse for over 20 years. She was a loving mother, sister, caretaker, an amazing writer, and big movie enthusiast. She especially enjoyed Steel Magnolias and the Myrtle Beach classic “Shag.”

She is survived by her parents, Wyman Watson (Cynthia Klardie) and Carolyn George Floyd and her husband (Stephen D. Floyd); her children, Mady Grace Witty and Rylan Witty, of Brittons Neck; and her sister, Candi Terry, her husband, Brian Terry; her nephews, Landon Cisson and Aidan Buchanan; stepbrothers, Michael Floyd and Christopher Floyd; step nephew, Logan Floyd; Teresa’s daughter, Denise Dudley (Frankie), along with many other family and friends who will miss her dearly.

The family will receive friends Wednesday August 19, 2026, from 1:00pm until 1:45 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held, 2pm Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Tommy Haselden officiating.

Burial will follow at Watson Cemetery, 204 E. Bay Road, Britton’s Neck, SC 29546.
