Thomas R. "Tommy" Smith, 81, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Conway Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 9, 1943 in Conway, he was the son of the late Lewis Wilson Smith and Lilly Ruth Smith.

He is predeceased by his siblings, Mary Frances Allen, Edward Smith, Patricia Siratt, Virginia McDowell and Kenny Smith.

Tommy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He loved spending time with his family but especially his grandchildren. He was an avid Gamecock fan who enjoyed growing vegetables, landscaping and shooting pool.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife of eighteen years, Elsie Lee Smith, sons, Daron Smith (Tonya) and Tony King; stepchildren, Terry Harrington (Trixie) and Steve Harrington (Regina); brothers, Bobby Joe Smith (Bonnie), and Lonnie Smith (Athene); sister, Debbie Wilburn (Robert) and Wanda Cox (Terry); grandchildren, Gage Smith, Lane Smith, Victoria Morgan (Kenny), Travis King (Linsey) and Lauren King; step grandchildren, Brooke Martin (Brandon), Kasey Ward (Judson), Nicholas Harrington (Caitlin) and Trent Harrington along with many other family and friends who will miss him.

The family will receive friends from 4pm until 6pm Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Watson Funeral Services.

Funeral Services will be held 11am Monday, February 26, 2024 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Mack Hudson officiating.

Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Mausoleum.
