Tara Elaine Goodman, 54, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 31, 2024 at Conway Medical Center, with her loving family by her side. She was born July 15, 1970 in Logan, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Dana McCoy and Georgann Walker Dickens.

She is predeceased by her parents.

Tara was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, soon to be grandmother, aunt and friend. She faithfully served her Lord and Savior at her church where she was a, faithful and supporting, wife to her husband as they served the families and friends at Free Welcome FWB Church. Tara greatly loved her church family. She had a heart of gold and was a very humble and caring person, always putting everyone before herself. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and loved going to the mountains whether they were short or long trips.

Mrs. Goodman is survived by her husband of 32 years, Rev. Allen Goodman; one daughter, Nataly Goodman Brandt (Shawn); three sons, Anthony Goodman,Tildon Goodman and Samuel Goodman; sister, Tammy McCoy Brumfield; father-in-law, Chuck Goodman; uncle and aunt, James and Tish Walker; niece, Marissa Durden (JJ); nephew, Jon James; great nieces and nephews, Zoie Durden, Kasen Durden and Mikey James; and many other family and friends that will greatly miss her.

A Funeral Service will be held 5:00 pm Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Free Welcome FWB Church.

Burial will follow at Westside Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 4:00 pm until 4:45 at the church.
