Susie Ann Richardson Morris, 80, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Conway Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 2, 1945 in Horry County, a daughter of the late, Rubin Richardson and Alease Johnson Richardson.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her first husband, Wendell Skipper; her second husband, Douglas Morris; siblings, Buddy Richardson, Carlee Richardson, Joe Richardson, Henry Richardson, Rosella Tindall, Lucille Ward, Betty Stephan and Jennifer Rachael Carranza; one grandson, Noah James Skipper.

Susie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She lived life for all the people she loved especially her children who she loved beyond measure. A woman of honor and traditions, a daughter anyone would be proud of and took care of her parents till the end.

Mrs. Morris is survived by her children, Jeffrey Skipper (Amy) and Kristi Edwards (Chris); one sister, Shirley Frye; three grandchildren, Cody Edwards, Kady Edwards and Chase Edwards along with many other family and friends who will miss her.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, April 24, 2026 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Chris Grainger officiating.
