Susie Beckworth Cooper, 65, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025 at her residence with her loving family by her side. Born April 10, 1959 in Reidsville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Alvie Mathew Sr. and Peggy Stokes Beckworth.

She was predeceased by her husband, Michael "Tazz" Cooper, brother, Alvie M. Beckworth Jr and sister, Kathy B. Johnson.

Ms. Susie was a Claims Associate with Blue Cross Blue Shield. She enjoyed doing crafts, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved laughter and bringing joy to everyone she met.

Ms. Cooper is survived by her children, Cord McCrackin (Crickette), Brandi Edwards (Lee), Randy Cooper (Tracy), and Justin Cooper (Lesly-Erin); Brother, David Beckworth (Sylvia) and Sister, Vicky Fletcher; sixteen grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren along with many other family and friends who will miss her.

Graveside Services will be held 11:00am, Monday, March 3, 2025 at Westside Memorial Gardens.
