Stanley Steven "Steve" McKinney, 74, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Conway Medical Center with his loving family by his side. He was born October 21,1951 in Baltimore, MD, a son of Clarence McKinney and the late Grace Ernestine Orr McKinney.

He was predeceased by his mother, Grace Ernestine Orr McKinney, his son-in-law, Brady Appleton and brother-in-law David Mann

Steve served his country in the United States Army and was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He enjoyed playing pool, darts, photography, watching CNN and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his father, Clarence McKinney, Mr. Mckinney is survived by his wife, of forty-six years, Patricia Douglas McKinney; children, Ray McElroy (Mandy) and Terri Appleton; brother, Marcus McKinney (Valerie); sister, Vicky Mann; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren and many other family and friends who will miss him.

Celebration of life will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Watson Funeral Services Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:30 am, prior to the service.
