Shirley C. Edwards, 77, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023 with her loving family by her side. She was born November 9, 1946 in Conway, a daughter of the late Allen Floyd Cooke Sr. and Betty Jean Davis Cooke.

Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to all.

She loved spending time with her family along with fishing, camping and traveling. She was a member of White Savannah Freewill Baptist Church and was very involved in her church.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Fred Cook, J.P. Cook, Lacy Cook, Tracy Cook, Annie Lee Cook, Margaritte Cook, Cleo Cooke, Rembert Cook, Clyde Cooke, Calvin Cooke, Daniel Cooke, Floyd Cooke, Ressie Ivey and Mildred Boyd.

Mrs. Edwards is survived by her husband of fifty- five years, Frankie Jefferson Edwards Sr.; sons, Andy Edwards, Chris Edwards (Kristi), and Frankie Jefferson Edwards Jr. (Debra); sister, Betty Harmon; seven grandchildren, Cody Edwards, Andrew Edwards, Kady Edwards, Chase Edwards, Frankie Edwards III, Dylan Edwards and Chad Reed; two great grandchildren, Elijah and Deacon; many nieces and nephews, along with many other family and friends who will miss her.

A Funeral Service will be at 10am Saturday, November 18, 2023 at White Savannah Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Stephen Hyman and Rev. Buddy Seay officiating.

Burial will follow in church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 9am until time of service at the church.
