Shawn E. Riley, 55, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Conway Medical Center. He was born September 20, 1967, in Holyoke, MA, a son of the late George Riley and Ruth (McKnight) Riley.

Shawn was a Master Plumber in his hometown of Chicopee, MA where he owned his own business Riley's Plumbing & Heating. Shawn was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed traveling, golf, fishing and the breathtaking underwater scenes while scuba diving. He had a sweet tooth and loved chocolate, especially his late mother's homemade fudge. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast whose love for riding began at an early age. That passion never ended. His love for the beach brought him to South Carolina in 2017, where he enjoyed every minute of the time he spent there. His funny and witty personality gained him friendships wherever he went. More than anything in the world, Shawn loved his family.

Shawn is survived by his wife, Elaine Riley, of 12 years; his daughters, Kayla (Riley) Babiec (husband Adam Babiec), Amber Harrison and Kayla Harrison; his brother Michael Riley (wife Judith Sibert); two grandchildren Riley and Olivia Babiec, and many other family and friends who will miss him dearly. Shawn is the youngest of 3 siblings and was predeceased by his sister Cindy Gendron.

A Celebration of His Life Service will be held at a later date in Massachusetts.
