Sharon Jean Parsons, 66, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born September 25, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Carlin and Barbara Joy Goff Barnette.

She was also predeceased by her sister, Debbie Stepp.

Sharon was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed shopping at Dollar General, old beach music and karaoke, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and sister.

Mrs. Parsons is survived by her husband, Patrick Lee Parsons, Jr.; children, Phillip Lee Parsons and Nancy Onion (Damian); stepson, Patrick Lee Parsons III; sisters, Karen Ammons and Patty Crawford (Wayne); grandchildren, Abby Onion, Callie Onion, MacKenzie Onion, Savannah Ross (JT), Selyna Hueitt (Rod) and Felicity Blaylock (Adam); step grandchildren, Brianna Parsons, Colin Parsons and Samantha Parsons; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other family and friends who will miss her.

A Graveside Service will be held 11am, Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Hillcrest Cemetery with Rev. Chris Grainger officiating.

The family will receive friends at Watson Funeral Services from 9:30am until 10:30am prior to the service.
