Obituary

Sarah Ann Oliver Mishoe, 62, of Conway, South Carolina, passed away on March 8, 2026. Born on March 6, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Phillip Allen Oliver and Step-Mother Margaret of Georgetown, and the late Doris Prince Johnson (Johnnie), and the loving wife of the late Maurice Mishoe.

Sarah was loyal, outspoken, and unapologetically herself. Some people might've called her tough, but those who truly knew her understood that her sharp honesty and strong personality always came from a good place. She loved fiercely, spoke her mind, and left an unforgettable mark on everyone who loved her. Anyone who knew her knew her table was always welcome to anyone.

Sarah leaves behind four loving children, Crystal Lightsey, Edward Lightsey (wife, Lynlee), Amber McElroy, and Curtis Mishoe, along with a large, cherished family of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought endless joy to her life: From Crystal: Lacy (and great-grandsons Walker and Axel), Delana, Danni, and Veronika. From Edward: Kody (expecting Sarah's future great-grandchild), Kalee, Kaleb, Destiny, Faith, Colton, and Paizley. From Amber: Zoey and Zadie. From Curtis: Miah and Abel.

In addition to her children, she is survived by her siblings: David Barnes, Jeania Hatcher-Kidder, Henry Brandon-Hatcher, and Edward Allen Oliver; and her Step- Mother Margaret Oliver. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by an infant brother, a brother Doug Barnes.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Watson Funeral Services in Conway, SC with Pastor Chuck McElroy officiating. Sarah will be remembered for her strength, humor, honesty, and the deep love she held for her family. Her spirit lives on in every heart she touched.
