Sarah Linda Boyd, 75, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at her residence. She was born July 31, 1948 in Horry County, a daughter of the late Phillip Thomas McCormick and Ruby Bellamy McCormick.

She is also predeceased by brothers, Ray McCormick and Earl McCormick; sisters, Ledena Lawrimore and Wilma Harrelson.

Sarah loved singing, fishing and her family. She always supported her husband's ministry. Playing with her grandkids and spending time with her family was always a highlight of her life.

Mrs. Boyd is survived by her husband of sixty years, Davis "DJ" Boyd; sons, Ricky Boyd (Debbie), Jeff Boyd (Naomi) and Josh Boyd; daughter, Sherry Lewis (Clayton); brother, Charles McCormick (Susie); sister, Phyllis Martin (Bill); ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and many other family and friends who will miss her.

Funeral Services will be 3pm Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel.

The family will receive family and friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at Mountain Cemetery at a later date.
