Obituary

Sandra Faye B. Phipps, 71, "My Pretty Lady", received her wings peacefully at home with her companion by her side.  She was born February 20, 1954 in Charleston, SC, a daughter of the late Clemmons Edward Bell and Ada Binnarr Bell Thomas.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her stepfather, Rouse H. Thomas; siblings, R.B. Thomas, Vicki Thomas and Gloria K Britt.

Sandy enjoyed spending with her family especially with her brother, Eddie. She was blessed to be able to be with her family one week prior to her passing and support her other family with the passing of her sister, Gloria. She loved listening to music, dancing, cross stitching, camping, her house plants, family vacations and going to the Atlantic Ocean, where she enjoyed the feel of sand between her toes. She also loved to find a bargain and then share it with others. Sandy enjoyed cruising around in her classic Z car and going to car shows.

Sandy was so adorable, graceful, loyal, faithful, thankful, loving, talented, compassionate, sweet, funny, sassy, strong and brave and was a beautiful lady inside and out.

Sandy loved life and her love for her associates and people was why she was a dedicated employee who was very successful in retail sales, where she retired.

Sandy is survived by her companion of forty years, Carol Napier; siblings, her sweet brother, Eddie Bell, Angie Zahn (Clyde) and Penny Elaine Thomas Barber (Rob); her fur baby, Reamie; her extended family; many nieces, nephews, cousins, her golden gal's and many other family and friends across the miles who will truly miss her where she will be forever loved..

A Memorial Service will be held 2pm, Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Watson Funeral Service Chapel.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, Sandy's request was for you to take a friend or family out for a meal and enjoy your time together.
