Ruby Ann Moore, 83, formerly of Georgetown, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at her home in Florence. She was born November 27, 1939 in Georgetown County, a daughter of the late John Dovie Moore and Martha Verline Britt Moore.

She was also predeceased by her parents; her siblings, Katie Forbes, Willie Moore, Willa Mae Harris, Paul Moore, Alvin Moore and Barbara Ann Moore.

Ruby Ann was a loving sister, aunt and friend to everyone she knew. She worked at the Georgetown County Clerk of Courts office for 30 years and the last four years, she was Clerk of Court. She enjoyed listening to Southern Gospel music, was an avid reader, and loved spending time with her family. Ruby Ann was a member of Georgetown Church of God, where she enjoyed going and worshiping her Lord and Savior.

Ms. Moore is survived by her siblings, J.V Moore (Ada Jean), Harry Moore (Aldean), Luther E. Moore and Mary Lee Mixon and many nieces and nephews who loved her very much.

Funeral Services will be held 11am Saturday July 22, 2023 at Georgetown Church of God with the Rev. Cory Johnson officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow at Piney Forrest Cemetery, on Hwy 41, in Andrews.
