Ronald Wayne Shaffer, 76, went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, March 18, 2023. He was born May 30, 1946 in Woodbury, NJ.

Ron was predeceased by his daughter, Curry Lynn Shaffer.

In 1984, Ron established Ronald's Truck Sales in Cedar Brook, NJ and was in business for thirty-two years.  Ron served as a Councilman and a member of the Planning Board in Berlin Township, NJ.  He was a member of Victory Bible Church of Hammonton, NJ. After retiring in 2016, he and his wife, Jane relocated to Conway, SC and became members of Juniper Bay Baptist Church. Ron enjoyed boating, traveling, classic cars and loved being a wonderful father. He will be remembered as a loving husband, great father and friend to all.

Mr. Shaffer is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Betty "Jane" Shaffer; son, Ronald Wayne Shaffer Jr. (Joann) and many other family and friends who will miss him.

Funeral Services will be held 10am Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Juniper Bay Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Vandermark officiating.

Entombment will follow at Southern Palms Memorial Gardens in North Myrtle Beach.

The family will receive friends from 9:00am until 9:45am at the church prior to the service.
