Robert Carol Rogers, 89, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence. He was born June 12, 1935 in Marion County, a son of the late Marvin Brunson Rogers Sr. and Leila P. Brown Rogers.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Frances Helen Richardson Rogers; siblings, Juliette Rogers Owens, Faye Rogers and Marvin B. "MB" Rogers, Jr.

Carol loved to fish, enjoyed playing softball in his younger years, going to church and spending time with his family. He served in the United States Air Force from 1954 until 1980.

Mr. Rogers is survived by his daughters, Debra Kaye Rogers and Carol Ann Hucks (Phillip); grandchildren, Ashley Hucks Sullivan (Evan) and Whitney Hucks (Brad Wiggins); great grandchildren, Amelia, Harleigh, Kenzie, Cameron, Caydon, Landon and many friends who will miss him.

Graveside Services will be held 2:00pm, Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Nebo Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after the service at the graveside.
