Robert James Perry, 79, of Conway, South Carolina, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026, at Oakview Health and Rehabilitation.

Born on Oct 21, 1946, in Chester, Connecticut, he was the son of the late, Oliver Perry and Dorothy Perry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanetta Perry.

Robert enjoyed spending time with his family, and friends, whom he loved dearly. He worked for many years as a draftsman engineer, in manufacturing before retiring.

He also had a great passion for old cars and antiquing.

A proud patriot, Robert believed deeply in what the American flag stood for and took great pride and honor in serving his country, in the United States Air Force.

Robert is survived by his son, Donnie Mincey and wife, Kim; three grandchildren, Taylor, Samantha and Joshua; two great-grandchildren, Addy and Ally; along with other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
