Robert "Bob" Houlihan, 75, passed away November 5, 2023 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born June 2, 1948 in West Orange, New Jersey, a son of the late John Houlihan and Anna Jones Houlihan.

Mr. Houlihan is predeceased by his parents and a brother, John Houlihan.

Bob graduated in the first graduating class from Point Pleasant Boro High School in New Jersey in 1966. During his time there he played football, basketball and baseball. He took courses at Ocean County Community College, Monmouth University and technical classes at IBM. Initially he was a draftsman at Bell Laboratories which led to the computer field. He was a business partner with IBM and owned his own computer software and consulting company RCH Associates in New Jersey. He retired and moved to Conway, SC on April 1, 2005. He drove a school bus for Horry County Schools for nine years and retired again due to health conditions. He enjoyed golf, traveling, cooking and spending time with family especially his grandchildren. He loved a good party.

Mr. Houlihan is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Gail Ringler Houlihan; three sons, Shane Houlihan (Alison), Damien Houlihan (Erin) and Justin Houlihan (Kristyn); one daughter, Mackenzie Viglone (Justin); sisters, Carole Johnson and Kaye Reese (George); nine grandchildren, Morgan Houlihan, Ethan Houlihan, Myah Viglone, Mason Viglone, Keira Houlihan, Delaney Houlihan, Quinn Houlihan, Ava Houlihan and Landon Houlihan, along with many other family and friends who will miss him.

A Memorial Service will be held 4:30 pm Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Shipp Daniels officiating.

The family will receive friends after the service.
