Robert Gardiner, 66, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at his residence. Born February 3, 1959 in Norwich, Ct., he was the son of William Samuel Gardiner and Angelina Florio Gardiner.

Robert's career consisted with twenty years as a firefighter and fifteen years with the railroad. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing in the ocean, riding his Harley and attending any kind of racing event. One of his greatest assets was his sense of humor and always wanting to make people laugh. Robert will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Gardiner is survived by his wife, Donna Gardiner; children, Kirk Gardiner, Chad Gardiner, Adam Gardiner and Jeannie Gardiner; step children, Tammy Shippee, Shelley Shippee and Andrew Corbine; three grandchildren and many other family and friends who will miss him.
