Rita Stangle, 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 16, 2025. Born in Barletta, Italy on March 13, 1939.

Rita was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her children, Maria and Michael, her sisters Anna and Teresa, her granddaughter Heather Michele, her great-grandson Gabriel, and many other grandchildren who affectionately called her Nanny or Lil'Nanny. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who were all considered part of her extended family.

Rita was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Antonio and Michael, and her grandson Joshua.

She enjoyed spending her time doing word search puzzles, watching television, and cherishing visits from her family and friends.

The family extends their sincerest gratitude to the staff at Compass Post Acute Rehab and Patriot Hospice for their compassionate care in Rita's final moments.

Funeral arrangements will be private at the family's request.
