Richard Dean Skurski, 73, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025 at GSRMC. Born June 30, 1951 in Salem, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late William J. and Iris Bunse Skurski.

He was also predeceased by his brother, William Skurski Jr.

Richard enjoyed traveling, golf, playing chess and spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Skurski is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Diane Asselin Skurski; children, Kevin Marcotte (Elizabeth) and Brieanna Chiarelly (Ryan); sister, Vickie Papalardo (Lennie); grandchildren, Ariel Almodovar, Corbin Bouchard, Mikayla Bouchard, Arianna Marcotte and Olivia Marcotte; great grandchildren, Freya Almodovar and Emilia Almodovar, along with many other family and friends who will miss him.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 27th, 2025 at St. Peters Cemetery Chapel, 31 Deer Road Lewiston, ME 04240.
