Richard Lee "Robby" Robinson, 83, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024 at his residence. He was born October 26, 1940 in Washington, DC, a son of the late William Jay Robinson and Mary Lou Tinsley Robinson.

Robby grew up in Bethesda, MD and graduated from Walter Johnson High School. He enlisted in the US Army, serving as an MP.  After his Honorable Discharge, he began working for ADT as a Training Manager and retired after thirty-seven years. A Corvette enthusiast, he attended shows for many years. He was also an avid reader, loved the Washington Redskins and his fur baby, Tootsie. Robby was a decedent of Daniel Boone. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend.

Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Judith "Judy" Roland Robinson; daughters, Lisa Gillespie and Valarie Buck; brother, John Robinson (Barbara); grandchildren, Courtney Thompson (John), David Young and Eric Gillespie; three great grandchildren, Jaydon Michael Bomgardner, Addison Grace Bomgardner and Crimson Harper Thompson and many other family and friends who will miss him.
