Richard C. Curran, 79, passed away Monday, May 19, 2025 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. Born July 14, 1945, he was the son of the late Thomas and Loretta Curran.

In addition to his parent, Mr. Curran is predeceased by his brothers, George Curran, Donald Curran, his twin brother, Robert Curran and stepson, Todd Harper.

Mr. Curran is survived by his wife of 34 years, Patricia J. Curran; son, William Harper III; daughter, Celeste Lopez; sister, Anita Curran, three nephews; Jamie, Brian, Andy Curran a niece Cyndi Hooper and other family and friends who will miss him.

Richard proudly served his country for 30 years in the United States Navy as a Physicians Assistant, having served tours in Vietnam. He left a legacy with many young men through his mentorship as a leader in the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts. He was a loving husband, stepfather, brother, and friend.
