Rev. Carlon Gasque, 89, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, August 31, 2026 at McLeod Loris surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Horry County, a son of the late James Enoch Gasque and Mary Eliza Lee Gasque.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Carrie V. Gasque; siblings, Elwood Ivey Gasque, Elsa Mae Gasque Lewis, Donald Levern Gasque and IlA Mae Cannon.

Mr. Gasque was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend to all he met. A man of faith, he enjoyed spreading God’s word, by visiting nursing homes bringing the word to all that wasn’t able to attend church. He also loved fishing.

Mr. Gasque is survived by his sons, Joey Gasque (Jeaneen), Carlis Gasque (Michelle) and Jeffery Gasque; daughters, Marianne Gasque and Angie Brown (Jimmy); one brother, J.C. Gasque; one sister, Allene Hardee; five grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren, along with many other family and friends who will miss him.

Funeral Services will be held 2pm, Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Stevie Baker and Rev. Allan Goodman officiating.

Burial will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. J.T. Adams officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
