Reba L. Jeffords, 81, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center with her daughter and granddaughter by her side. She was born April 26, 1943 in Conway, SC, a daughter of the late Huey Chestnut and Grace Jordan Chestnut.

She is also predeceased by her husbands, Alton Edward Johnson and Francis McCloud Jeffords; her sons, Michael Lynn Johnson and Edward Glenn Johnson; brothers, Buddy Chestnut and Johnny Chestnut; sisters, Barbara Housand, Lillie Weldinger, Dean Holt and Jean Abrams.

Reba loved reading her Bible, sitting on her front porch, reading books and traveling.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to everyone.

Mrs. Jeffords is survived by her daughter, Patsy White and her husband, Stephen; her sister, Kay Chestnut Timmons; three grandchildren, Jordan White, Lindsey White Patterson and Rebecca Sarvis; one great grandchild and other family and friends who will miss her.

Memorial Services will be 2pm Monday, August 5, 2024 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 1:45 prior to the service at the church.
