Phillip M "Buddy" Hucks, 86, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024. He was born June 18, 1938 in Britton's Neck, a son of the late Floyd Hucks and Missouri Hucks.

He is predeceased by his siblings; Elwood McRae, Floyd Hucks Jr., Grace Hucks, Norman Hucks, Patsy Johnson and James Hucks.

Buddy enjoyed gardening, cooking, carpenter work and was a member of Nebo Baptist Church.

Mr. Hucks is survived by his wife, Sylvia Hucks; son, Phillip M Hucks Jr. (Carol); daughters, Kimberly English (David) and Melanie Butler (Jeff); brothers, Jimmy Hucks and Jerry Hucks; sister, Edna Douglas; nine grandchildren, Ashley Sullivan (Evan), Whitney Hucks (Brad), Morgan Caldwell (Josh), Ethan English (Kathryn), Megan Borden (Jamel); Matthew Hughes (Victoria); Jordan Hughes (Eydi), Benji Butler (Baylee) and Blane Butler; tweny- one great grandchildren and many other family and friends who will miss him.

Graveside Services will be 11:00 am Friday, October 25, 2024 at Old Neck Cemtery.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 until time of service at the cemetery.
