Phillip Darrell Hovermale, 64, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at his residence. Born May 15, 1961 in Denver, CO, he was the son of Margart Shoupe Hovermale and the late Emery Junior Hovermale.

He was also predeceased by his brothers, Leslie Dean Hovermale and Bryon M. Hovermale.

Phillip enjoyed spending time with his family, whom he loved very much. Fishing and spending time on the water where just a few things he enjoyed. Phillip was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend.

In addition to his mother, Margaret Shoupe Hovermale, he is survived by his brother, Allen Hovermale (Terri); nieces and nephews, Audrey Hovermale, Matthew Hovermale, and Christopher Hovermale; sister-in-law, Cathy Hovermale and many other family and friends who will miss him.
