Patsy Joan Leigh, 80, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born January 13, 1945 in Conway, she was the daughter of the late James Lloyd and Iona Bellamy Gore.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Nell DeMoss and Phyllis Collins.

Patsy attended Langston Baptist Church, where she enjoyed worshipping her Lord and Savoir. She was a wonderful and loving, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. An avid outdoors person, she loved working in her flower garden and bird watching, especially the red birds and hummingbirds. She loved her family, was hardworking and never complained about a thing. Patsy was an awesome seamstress, who enjoyed sewing any and everything, especially curtains.

Mrs. Leigh is survived by her husband, Joseph Ansel Leigh; children, Darren Leigh (Stephanie) and Joseph A. Leigh Jr. (Ellen); grandchildren, Chandler Joseph Leigh and Britton Jeanne Leigh, along with many other family and friends who will miss her.

Funeral Services will be held 2pm Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Bruce Davenport officiating.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
