Patrick Dale
Jenkins
Jul 26, 1947 — Jul 18, 2025
Patrick Dale Jenkins, 77, of Conway, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at home on July 18, 2025, after an extended illness.
Born on July 26, 1947, in Cleveland, Ohio, Patrick was the beloved son of the late Lloyd S. and Mary Jenkins. A proud veteran of the United States Army, he served with honor for 20 years, retiring as a Sergeant First Class. His commitment to service and country was only matched by his deep devotion to his family.
Patrick shared 44 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife and best friend, Wilma. Together, they built a life full of laughter, adventure, and unforgettable memories. Patrick was a proud father to Karen Jenkins of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; Mary Hastings (Dennis) of Jackson, Missouri; Tammy Duncan of Jackson, Missouri; and Heather Warren of Huntington, West Virginia.
He was a cherished grandfather to Logan Hennecke, Ryan Hennecke (Allison), Kaleb Propst, Cassey Propst, Nigel Hastings, Taylor Hastings, Forrest Barcus and a great-grandfather to six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Sandy Shetley (Dale) of Newport, Tennessee, along with many loving nieces and nephews.
He found peace in his faith and comfort in knowing Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Photography was his passion. Through his lens, he told stories that captured laughter, love, and the small details that made memories and ordinary days extraordinary.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm Monday, July 21, 2025 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Jamey Collins officiating.
Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery with Military Honors.
