Patricia (Patti) Kwiatkowski, age 65, of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 18, 2024.

Patricia Ann (Ress) Kwiatkowski was born May 12, 1959, to Jo Ann (Solomon) and Gerald (Danny) Daniel Ress in Roseville, Michigan. She grew up in Roseville with her sister Kathy and graduated from Roseville High School in 1977. Patti began her working career as an administrator in accounting at Wolverine and Wicks Manufacturing. She also worked for SAE translating engineering standards. As a mom, Patti worked at various schools as a crossing guard and lunchroom mom. Later in life, Patti worked as an administrative assistant for Keller Williams Realty and Ralph Roberts Realty.

After dating for several months, on October 14, 1989, Patti married Keith Andrew Kwiatkowski in a small gathering at the Fox & Hounds Restaurant in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. They made their life and family in Warren, Michigan for over 20 years. After moving a few times, they retired to Murrells Inlet, South Carolina in 2021.

Patti's unconditional love, focus and priority was her family. She enjoyed living life to its fullest and had the biggest loving heart when it came to helping others. Patti volunteered her time to the American Cancer Society and helped organize various fund-raising events such as "Relay For Life" and Road Rallies. Patti loved meeting people. Through her kindness and her fun-loving outgoing personality, she made many lifelong friends along the way. Once you met her, you wanted to be around her because she made you feel welcomed and special.

Patti had a love for all animals. She especially loved her faithful companion, Abbi. Patti also had a natural talent for horticulture and gardening. This was another one of her many superpowers. Friends, neighbors, and family would look to her for guidance and ideas for house and outdoor plants and how to help them grow and provide the most beautiful blooms.

Patti is lovingly survived by her husband of 35 years, Keith; children Drew (Rachel) Kwiatkowski and Danielle (Florin) Mindru as well as her grandchildren Max, Mason, Jack, and Cassian. Patti is also survived by her mother, Jo Ann Ress, her sister Kathy (Ron) Nairn, and many cherished extended family members and friends. Patti was predeceased in death by her father Gerald (Danny) Daniel Ress.

The family would like to give thanks to her special caregivers.

There will be no immediate services, memorials, and/or gatherings. The family is planning to release Patti's ashes at sea, off the shores of South Carolina, with close family and friends at a date and time around her birthday in May 2025.
