Norwood Jackson, 80, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024 at his residence with his loving great granddaughter by his side. He was born September 28, 1943 in Mullins, a triplet of the late King Jackson and Nancy Jernigan Jackson.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife of sixty -one years, Shirley Cooper Jackson; daughter, Penny Johnson; grandson, Chad Johnson; siblings, Clarence Jackson, Hubert Jackson, Irene Jackson, Douglas Jackson and William Jackson.

Norwood was a loving great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all. He was the founder and owner of Jackson Heating and Cooling. Norwood enjoyed being out in his shop, always finding something to tinker with. He enjoyed watching TV, especially Judge Judy, the History Channel  and wrestling.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his great granddaughter, Haylee Johnson her fiancé (Nick); brother, Linwood Jackson (Carolyn); sisters, Jeanwood Griffin, Pauline Thomas and Annie Funk; several nieces and nephews, along with many other family and friends who will miss him.

A Memorial Service will be held 11 am Saturday March 16, 2024 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel.
