Nicholas Boone Herring, 24, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Born on April 1, 2001, he was the son of Joseph Herring and Susann Friedrich Cates.

Nicholas was a loving son, brother and friend. He was an avid reader and outdoorsman, who also enjoyed hunting sharks teeth, music and cooking.

In addition to his parents, Nicholas is survived by his stepfather, John R. Longo; siblings, Joseph Herring, Cody Cates, Lindsy Jester (Roy) and Brittney Longo, along with many other family and friends who will miss him.
