Nancy May Acres, 96, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 18, 2025 with her loving family by her side. Born October 15, 1928 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Lt. Harry Fahrney and Edna Grace Weant Young.

She was also predeceased by her brother, Robert E. Young and grandson, Christian Venancio and Great granddaughter, Tamberli Venancio.

Nancy spent most of her life in San Diego County and graduated from Herbert Hoover High School, the class of 1947.

Ms. Acres is survived by her children, Judith Ann Chouinard and Sandra Louise Wilson; grandchildren, Shawn, Larry, Gary, Cresta, Amanda and Adam; great grandchildren, Rachel, Becca, Josh, Cory, Zachery and Evie; great-great grandchild, Jax, and many other family and friends who will miss her.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at El Camino Memorial Gardens in San Diego, CA.
