Mildred Graham Skipper, 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 with her loving family by her side. She was born December 31, 1939 in Horry County a daughter of the late Van Washington Graham Sr. and Letha Rabon Graham.
Mildred was preceded in death by her great grandson Triston Hicks; siblings, Lonnie Graham, Laura Brickhouse, Ralph Graham, Wendell Graham, Joyce Martin and Letha Van Graham.
Mildred was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She dedicated her life to her family, and nothing gave her greater joy than being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a tremendous faith in God and shared her faith every chance she had. She loved to cook especially her biscuits, read and solve word search puzzles. Mildred retired from Sara Lee Hosiery in Marion after twenty-eight years of service. She had a tremendous heart, was a true friend, was loved by many, and she will missed by all of us.
Left to cherish her memories is her husband of 63 years, Lamar Skipper of Marion; daughters, Lorrie Hayhurst (Randy) of Florence, Rhonda Johnson (Dean) of Galivants Ferry and Michael Skipper of Florence; grandchildren, Jessica Inman, Katy Thompson, Michael Skipper (Stephanie), Lance Skipper (Jessica), Crista Skipper; great grandchildren, Nathan Skipper, Madison Inman, Aiden Hicks, John Baker, Samantha Baker, Iris Skipper and Ruby Skipper; siblings, Kenneth Graham (Debbie), Earl Graham (Patsy) and Erva Lee Hilburn (Dennis) along with many other family and friends who will miss her.
Funeral Services will be held, 12pm, Friday, February 17, 2023 at Watson Funeral Services with Rev. Tom Grant officiating.
The family will receive family and friends from 11:00 am until 11:45 am at Watson Funeral Services.
Burial will follow at Westside Memorial Gardens.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Centenary Baptist Church, 106 Davis Street Centenary, SC 29519
