On November 29th, 2022 Michael Robert Massey passed away peacefully with his wife, Mel, at his side.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 11,1952. Mike lived most of his life in Sterling and Creston Ohio, until his retirement when he and his wife Mel moved to Conway, South Carolina.

He worked over 20 years at Standard Brands/Nabisco in Seville Ohio and retired in 2017 from Superior Roll Forming in Valley City, Ohio

Mike loved riding his motorcycle, he was an avid Nascar fan and loved fixing and tinkering with anything from fans to vehicles to his beloved Honda Goldwing.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents Harry C. and Bonita P. Massey and his sister, Cecile Massey David.

Mike is survived by his wife and best friend, Melva "Mel"; his daughter Melissa Herman of Medina Ohio; his grandsons, Owen and Wyatt Muller. It made Mike a very proud grandpa when Owen joined the US Army. Stepsons Quinn and Logan Homer.

He is also survived by his sisters, Linda A. Wright nee Massey of Huntsville, AL, Pamela F.Jones nee Massey (husband Michael) of Doylestown, OH. and his brother, Carl W. Massey of Lugoff, SC

Nieces: Chrissy, Brandi, Tina, Kendra; Nephews: Michael Jon, Brian, Mikey, James, Austin and all the grand nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place, thanks to the services of Watson Funeral home and Crematory.

There will be a celebration of life to take place at a later date.
