Mary Lou Hardee Edge, 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 with her loving family by her side. She was born January 06, 1934 in Horry County, a daughter of the late Carson Hardee and Ruby E. Bratcher Hardee.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, E.B. Edge Jr.; sisters, Fleetwood Gore and Pauline McDowell and her brothers, Clyvurne Hardee, Bill Hardee and Jerry Hardee.

Mary Lou loved her family very much, and spending time with them. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and cooking. She was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, where she enjoyed serving her Lord and Savior and fellowshipping with her church family.

Mary Lou is survived by her daughter, Daphene E. Phillips; grandchildren, Heather Howard (Jay) and Joshua Phillips (Tracy); great grandchildren, Will Phillips (Lienna), Jaxon Howard and Lawson Phillips and other family and friends who will miss her.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, March 1, 2024 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Denis McCorry and Pastor Joshua Phillips officiating.

Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the Church.
