Mark Anthony Rogers, 59, of Conway, SC entered the gates of Heaven on Sunday August 18, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones at the Medical University of South Carolina. An avid Miami Dolphins fan, Mark had a great love for life, sports, adventure, and traveling to mountains with his family.

Mark had an exceptional musical talent that he used in various ways. As a high school senior, he served as captain of the drum line for Socastee High school. His love for the drums led him to playing with multiple bands, on many different occasions while creating his own. Mark served his community by using his talent to bring joy to those healing during difficult times at long term care facilities in our area.

A graduate of Nashville Auto Diesel College, Mark developed a passion for mechanics. Later in life, he became a Master Electrician and certified safety manager.

During his health journey, he was afforded the opportunity of participating in multiple clinical trials for cancer research and played a large role in the development of new treatment.

Mark is predeceased by his mother Evalula C. Smith and brother Michael Dale Rogers.

Mark is survived by his wife, Sheila McDowell Rogers; daughter, Morgan (Matthew) Momyer; son, Marcus (Laikyn) Rogers; expecting grandson, Maddox Anthony Rogers and a sister, Melinda Rogers..
