Marjie Helen Higgins, 71, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 at GSRMC. She was born August 19, 1950 in Carroll County, VA, a daughter of the late Rev. Jackson Campbell and Stella Mae Bourne Campbell.

She was also predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

Marjie loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed sharing stories about her family on a daily basis. Reading was her passion, reading every spare minute she had. Marjie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Mrs. Higgins is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Donald H. Higgins; children, Jason C. Higgins (Cecilia) and Bradley H. Higgins (Wen Hsu); siblings, Dallas Campbell (Claire) and Maggie McKenzie; grandchildren, Christian Higgins and Brandon Higgins, along with many other family and friends who will miss her.
