Marion Jean DeMatteo, 79, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born November 19, 1946 in Newark NJ, a daughter of the late Nazzareno Ciamarra and Mary Vitiello Ciamarra.

Marion enjoyed shopping, cooking for her family, working with ceramics, going to the beach, decorating her house and spending time with family and friends. She was a people person and believed no one could do anything wrong.

Mrs. DeMatteo is survived by her husband, of sixty one years, Robert B. DeMatteo; sons, Jeff DeMatteo and his wife, Christine and David DeMatteo and his wife, Kelley; daughter, Gina Cady and her husband Stephen; brother, Raymond Ciamarra and his wife, Donna; sister, Diane Ferrara and her husband Greg; five grandchildren, Amanda Peras (Zack), Anthony DeMatteo (Gianna), Nicholas Cady, Dylan DeMatteo, Connor DeMatteo; three great grandchildren Bryson Peras, Brody Peras and Caden DeMatteo, and many other family and friends who will miss her.

The family will receive friends Friday September 18, 2026 5:00pm until 7:00 pm at Watson Funeral Services & Crematory.

Funeral Services will be held in Lakewood New Jersey with Lakewood Funeral Home assisting the family.
