Marilyn June Zmich, 75, passed away peacefully, Thursday, December 25, 2025 at her residence surrounded by family. Born March 4th, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Hazel Forrest Wawak. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years Martin Zmich.

Marilyn loved to travel, especially her annual birthday trip to St. Augustine with her daughters. She loved plants and her weekly trips to Costco to find the latest deals. Most importantly she loved spending time with family and friends.

Ms. Zmich is survived by her children, Michelle Hardee (Jason), Marnie Zmich, Magan Zmich and Melissa O'Brien (Justin); siblings Carole Tarvash, Joyce Annanie, and Richard Wawak (Mary); grandchildren, John, Colin, Mickey and Maggie O'Brien, Maci Long, Madison Frye and River Webber, special nieces Tammy Heisman and Robin Wawak and many other family and friends that will miss her greatly.

A memorial will be held Monday, December 29th, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Watson Funeral Services Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
