Malissa Wise, 46, of Conway, passed away peacefully at her residence Monday, August 31, 2026, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Glendale WV, a daughter of the late Albert Lee Wise and Marcella Taylor Wise.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother, Ronald Wise.

Malissa was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She loved the river, watching The Golden Girls, Scooby Doo and The Food Network. But spending time with her family, friends and her cat Blackie was one of her favorite things to do.

Ms. Wise is survived by her son, Gaven Shelley; two daughters, Natalee Hyman (Jacob) and Kinsly Shelley; two brothers, Kevin Taylor and Charles Taylor; two sisters, Mary Wise and Angela Wise; two grandchildren, Tate Hyman and Kanan Shelley along with other family and friends, who will miss her dearly.
