Linda Waller, 80, passed away Friday October 13, 2023 at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born December 1, 1942, a daughter of the late William Franklin Monroe and Laura Pauline Fultz Monroe.

Linda was an enthusiastic lover of all animals, always putting them first, especially dogs. She also enjoyed watching movies, puzzles and collecting Disney items. She was co-owner of WallerBears Surf Shop that she ran with her family. Linda will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Waller is survived by her husband of forty- six years, Alton Don Waller; son, Barrett Cornelison of Charlotte, NC; daughters, Lesile Iles (Jonathan) of Gastonia, NC and Samantha Connell (Tom) of Houston, TX; brothers, Bill Monroe of Salisbury, NC and Bobby Monroe (Bob) of Winston-Salem, NC; grandchildren, Michael Connell (Bess), Will Connell, and Caroline Schneider (Mason); great grandchild, William Connell; her fur baby, Bonny Brie and many other family and friends who will miss her.
