Linda Marie Smart, 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born December 21, 1943 in Horry County, a daughter of the late Herman Ludlam and Marie Bland Ludlam.

She was predeceased by her husband Clarence Wilburn Smart; son, Michael Smart; brother, James "Jimmy" Ludlam; sister-in-law, Sandra Ludlam; grandparents, Sam and Bessie Bland.

Mrs. Linda will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to everyone. She loved serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mrs. Linda loved to cook and was the happiest when all of her family was all together at her home while spending time with them, but most importantly, loving on her babies.

Mrs. Smart is survived by her children, Melody Smart and Tommy Smart; grandchildren, Hannah Reavis (Blake) and Judson Stanley; great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Blakely, Briggs, Jay, Ben and Laven; brother, Bill Ludlam; sister, Sandra Strider (Mickey); father, Don "Pa" Norris; daughter-in-law, Jera Smart Norwood (Chris) along with many other family and friends who will miss her.

Funeral Services will be held 3pm Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Teryl Prosser officiating.

Burial will follow at Pauley Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service at the Funeral Home, from 2pm until 2:45pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pauley Swamp Cemetery Trust Fund, 2875 Pee Dee Hwy, Conway, SC 29527.
