Laverne Davis, 84, passed away November 11, 2023 at Conway Medical Center. He was born October 23, 1939 in Horry County, a son of the late Joseph Davis and Maude Guyton Davis.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sons, Marshall Davis and Scott Davis; siblings, Ruby Davis Todd, Arthur "Tink" Davis, Estelene Todd, Roberta Todd and Betty Lewis.

Laverne was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all he met. He enjoyed riding around, old cars and old westerns.

Mr. Davis is survived by his son, Blake Davis; brother, Charlie Davis (Mary Ellen); special friend and care taker, Donna Davis; two grandchildren, Bryson Davis and Emarie Davis; several nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends who will miss him.

A Funeral Service will be held 11am Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Dale Lewis officiating.

Burial will follow at Westside Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
