Millie Lavern Bellamy, 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at her home, with her loving family by her side.

She was born May 9, 1936 in Horry County, a daughter of the late Leon Milligan and Gladys Milligan.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Carlisle D. Bellamy; and brothers, Bobby L. Milligan, infant brother, Lindsey Milligan, and Dennis G. Milligan Sr. and sister, Edna Gonzales.

Lavern was a loving wife, mother and grandmother; she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, reading and cooking for her family. She was a lifetime member of Camp Swamp Methodist Church, where she enjoyed serving her Lord and Savior.

Lavern is survived by her son, Roy Gene Bellamy (Kim) of Loris, SC; daughters, Kathy Brabham (Richard) of Loris, SC; and Susan Todd (Bradley) of Conway, SC; six grandchildren, Thomas Brabham, Danny Brabham (Ashlee); Victoria Bellamy, Andrew Bellamy, Erin Todd and Caroline Todd; four great grandchildren, Grace Brabham, Nelly Holcomb, Ramona Brabham, Daphne Brabham; and other family and friends who will miss her.

Graveside Services will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Bellamy-Brooks Cemetery with Pastor Vaughn Chichester officiating.

The family will receive friends following service at the graveside.
