Larry Walter Alford, 73, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Conway Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 12, 1949 in Tatum, SC a son of the late Walter Gary Alford and Orilla Brown Alford.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Bobby Brown and his birth mother, Marie Brown.

Larry was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Larry also loved spending time with his family.

Mr. Alford is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Jo Ann Isennock Alford; sons, Brian B. Alford (Kerry) and L. Keith Alford (Candida); siblings, Charles Brown, Sammy Rogers, Carolyn Paden (Jimmy), Virginia Wright (Thurman), Blanch Tyler, Jean Claybaugh and Helen Brown; grandchildren, Landon, Cade, Evan, Farrah, Curren and Tia, along with many other family and friends who will miss him.

Funeral Services will be held 2pm, Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel.

Burial will follow at Westside Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
