Kyle “Dean” Roberts, 75, passed away Friday, June 19, 2026 at Compass Post Acute Rehab. He was born October 9, 1950 in Sullivan County, TN, a son of the late Olin Henry and Maudie Kendrick Roberts.

Dean served in the US Army and Reserves for twenty-one years. He enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family and friends, along with driving trucks with his son, Glenn and traveling. Known as Mr. Sarcasm, he loved playing jokes on people. Dean was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Mr. Roberts is survived by his children, Glenn Roberts (Tammy) and Michelle Gerald (Brent); siblings, Randall Roberts (Lisa), Donald Ray Roberts, Annette Shifflett, Brenda Stahler (Gary), Janice Roberts, Wanda Bednego, Patricia Klaiber and Deborah Stein; grandchildren, Brantlee Bellamy (Dylan), Ashlynn Roberts and Raina Gerald (Mason); great grandchild, Bentley Fritz and many other family and friends who will miss him.

A Service will be held at Florence National Cemetery at a later date.
