Kathryn Anne O'Keefe a native of Buffalo, NY and former resident of Rochester, NY, died Sunday in Aynor, South Carolina after a long illness at the age of 71. She was the daughter of Thomas T. and June M. (Bieler) Reigstad.

She grew up in Western New York and graduated from Sweet Home Senior High School in Amherst, NY, where she excelled in business courses, as a field hockey athlete, and as a singer in chorus. Later, she worked in sales for several years at Eaton Office Supply's Tonawanda store and after that sold chemicals for Ashland Oil Company, which was also located in Tonawanda, NY.

Wherever she lived, she was active in local churches. She also loved camping and gardening. One of her biggest joys was taking walks on the beach with her two beloved dogs.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Gerald O'Keefe; her daughters, Stephanie (Wes) Johnson, of Alexandria, VA, and Stacie (Andy) George, of Wake Forest, NC; two step-daughters, Kristin O'Keefe, of Rock Hill, SC, and Kayla O'Keefe, of Charlotte, NC; loving grandmother of Parker and Kennedy George, Sierra, Chase and Asher Johnson, Brooke Johnson-Nichols, and Landon O'Keefe; and three great grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas J. Reigstad and Robert J. (Donna) Reigstad; a sister, Jerri (Jeff) Hillyard; and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 AM, April 22, 2023 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Gregg Cannon officiating.
